Binga Harbour (Victoria Falls side)
On the western side of Lake Kariba 330 km (4 hours) from Victoria Falls
A safari boat holiday can be one of the cheaper safari vacation options available, offering game viewing, accommodation, speed boat rides and excellent freshwater fishing (including the famous tiger fish)
Best seasons
- The cooler months of April to September when the weather is beautiful one day and perfect the next, are very pleasant
- The fishing is better in the hot summer months of September to March
- Over Easter, houseboats are generally fully booked up on Lake Kariba
- October is Tiger Fishing competition time
- Christmas and New Year is when every boat is on the water for PARTY TIME and the best time to book for this period is at least six months in advance.
